Let’s use the CTM (MTC) as an example:

1. Find the street. It will always start with Rua/R. or Avenida/Av.
2. Find the state. CLICK HERE for a list of Brazilian states. It will often be two letters, in our example, SP stands for the state of Sao Paulo.
3. Find the city. Once you discovered the state, the other name will probably be the city. To be sure, CLICK HERE for a list of Brazilian cities.
   • Yes, we have both a city and a state named Sao Paulo.
4. Find the zip code. It has 8 numbers, and is usually close to the end of the address.
5. Here, “Casa Verde” is the neighborhood, and it usually goes right before the city name. Adding neighborhoods are optional.

Before we explain, here’s two important things you need to know:

• For security purposes, the Brazilian MTC only accepts deliveries from mail carriers. Thus, at checkout, you can choose orders to be free pickups or mailed. We recommend pickups for prime freshness and deliciousness.
• Some foods are dine-in only, such as: pancakes, milkshakes, etc…

With that in mind, if you choose free pickups, we send your missionary an email with pickup instructions, they come on their p-day and have a nice sit-down meal with their companion.

PS: Some of you send extra food for companions, and we think that’s awesome! 

Brazil is amazing, but it has a high crime rate. Some areas are safer than others, and the mission home office is usually the safest place you can send it to.

We’ve had 100% delivery success at mission offices since there is always someone there during business hours to receive packages.

For these reasons, we strongly recommend that instead of sending packages directly to your missionary, you send it to their mission home offices.

Shipping speed is usually 3-5 business days. We’re located in São Paulo, so it might take a total of 10 business days if the we’re sending it to faraway states up north.

Keep in mind that mission home offices have their own delivery schedule. Last time we checked, missionaries pick up their packages when they come visit or during stake activities.

• The working day in Brazil typically runs from 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. Therefore, Saturdays and Sundays are not considered business-days. CLICK HERE for more info.

You’ll get a tracking number and a link sent to your email a couple of days after your order. The link will take you to a tracking page where you can see shipping details, like location status and delivery date.

Pro tip: After getting the tracking number, download the app called AfterShip. There you can set up shipping notifications, so you’ll always know where the package is and you’ll be notified when it reaches its destination. This way you can tell your missionary when to come pick up their package.

We go by either, but we prefer “Missionties” because it’s shorter. “Mymissionties”  is the closest available domain that we could find. So when you receive an email from us it will be a “@mymissionties.com”.
